Tom Eckmann served as advisor to the founder and CEO of this leading-edge developer of systems to transact micro-payments (i.e., $.25 to $3.00) cost-effectively and securely over the Internet.  He provided advice and counsel regarding the business plan, deployment of a pilot system and a funding campaign to raise several million from venture capital and angel investors.

Trading Card Game Company

Tom Eckmann advised the founders of a trading card entertainment company who had developed a new tournament card game for players aged 14 to 25.  The founders were veterans of the gaming industry but wanted advice on how to write a business plan that would attract investors.  Tom guided them through the plan development process and coached them in how to make presentations to both venture capital and angel investors.
